One of Södermalm’s largest play ground; Drakenbergsparken is situated close by Zinkensdamm. Here there are climbing frames, football fields, swings and other fun things for the children. There is also a large outdoor grill with several seating’s for the ones who like to barbeque. Some of the day’s staff is on site of the playground.
Just by the water Tantolundens miniature golf course is located. They are open from the middle of April to October. They have an 18 hole concrete course where in 2011 the world championship was played.
Withing walking distance from us you can find several bathing places. In Tantolunden a short walk away you’ll find a small constructed beach and cliffs. A bit further away at historical Långholmen you find a larger beach and more cliffs just next to the former prison. In the other direction you have Eriksdalsbadet a bathhouse with a large outdoor pool.
The cinema Rio is situated at Hornstull and is operated by Folkets Hus & Parker. Rio is one of Stockholm’s oldest cinemas managing a film café, live operas’, 3D cinema and more. Bio Rio screens family films and have the concept baby cinema for those with baby strollers. Simply put a concept far beyond the usual cinema experience.
